NANCY S. SPUDICH-ZELLERS

age 54, of Griffith, passed away Friday June 3, 2016. Nancy is survived by her children Randy Zellers and Amy Zellers; siblings Ed "Spud" Spudich and Ronald "Spud"(Cathy) Spudich; aunt Carolyn Applegate; uncle Donald Spudic; canine companion Xader. Preceded in death by her parents Rosalee and Richard "Pooky" Spudich; canine companion Pog.

Nancy was a graduate of East Chicago Roosevelt Class of '79 and received her Bachelors in Education from Purdue University. She was a longtime member of the K of C Wives Club of the Knights of Columbus Council 1700 and served as treasurer for many years. Every Tuesday Nancy enjoyed playing bingo at St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith. We will sorely miss our dear mother, sister and friend.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville with a Wake service at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Mary Catholic Church 525 N. Broad St. Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Nancy will lie in repose at the church from 9:30 AM until time of mass.
