NIKKI JELENSKI nee BILLINGSLEY

age 40, of Griffith, passed away Thursday July 17, 2014. Nikki is survived by her devoted husband Jimi; son Griffin; parents Martha and Wayne; sister Tammi (Ben) Anderson; nephews Ryan and Dylan Anderson; nieces: Mattie Anderson, Hazel and Faye Jelenski; great niece Rilynn Anderson; in-laws Wayne Jelenski and Pat Moore; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her grandmother Mattie Demps; grandfather Ishmael Billingsley; brother in law Mikey Jelenski.

Nikki was a loving wife, a caring daughter and wonderful sister and aunt. Her family meant the world to her. Nikki had a true passion for life, she loved old cars and loved to laugh. She was currently employed as a Surgical Tech for the past four years at St. Mary Hospital where she made many, many friends. Nikki will be forever missed by all.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 21, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville with Pastor Michael White officiating. Cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
