Patricia J. Burns
Age 69, of Dyer, IN, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017. Patti is survived by her loving sisters, Joyce (Bill) Adams, Noreen Burns; nieces and nephews, Scott (Meg) Adams, Allison (Stuart) Murtagh, Becky (Bob) Venus, Patrick (Courtney) Adams, Michael Burns, Joanna Badillo; great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John J. and Kathryn Burns; sister, Mary Catherine; and brothers, John and Timothy Burns.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at

, 7109 Calumet Ave., HAMMOND, IN from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 4:00 PM prayer service. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 4, 2017 DIRECTLY at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN 46321 with Rev. Michael Yadron officiating. Patti will lie in state at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service and be laid to rest directly after at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN.
Patti retired from NIPSCO after more than 30 years of service. She was an avid photographer, sewer and volunteer
