Patricia Jenkins

On Saturday, February 10th, this earth lost a sweet angel to heaven. Patricia Jenkins was born on October 21, 1945, daughter of Harry and Lola Glenn. Patricia lived an amazing life blessed with 3 generations of children and grandchildren. Patricia had a powerful love for her family and animals. Her passion was babysitting her grandchildren and volunteering her time at the humane society, leading into fostering numerous dogs and cats, of which many became her permanent children. She was incredibly sweet, caring, affectionate, humble, selfless and spent her life giving and caring for others. Patricia also had an infectious, witty and comical personality that would make you laugh upon every interaction with her. She will be dearly missed, and her loving memories will live on forever.
Patricia is survived by her three children: James Dorsey (Angie), Debora Dorsey (Barry) and Donna Springer (Marc); her 10 grandchildren: Jaime Wojtczak (Bryan), Rick Dorsey, Dillen Dorsey, Eli Smith, Parker Lewis (Nicki), Patrick Gholston, Kayla Clevenger, Stephanie Fleszewski, Rachel Fleszewski and Chase Fleszewski; 7 great grandchildren: John, Ryanne, Kelly, Kenzie, Maddi, Wyatt and Jax; 6 sisters: Sondra Welch (Elmo), Donna Hasten (late Richard), Joyce Doughty (Jerry), Janice Hansen (late Hans), Lilly Glenn-Wagonblast (Carl) and Harriet Glenn Elea; and 18 nieces and nephews.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Jenkins; her first husband and father of her children, George Dorsey; her parents, Harry and Lola Glenn and her brother, Adam Glenn.

SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Community of Christ Church, 8629 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN 46322 from 4:00 pm-8:00pm (7:00 pm Prayer and Memorial Service).

In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to the Down Syndrome Association of Northwest, IN and/or Humane Indiana.
