Patricia "Patty" Therault
age 62, of Hammond, passed away at home surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. Patty is survived by her beloved mother and best friend, Jean Therault (nee Shaffer); dear siblings, Kathy (Kenny) Pirtle, Harold Jr. "Buddy", Carol Lipscomb and Laura Therault; many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends; special friend, Dawn Ellis; and faithful felines, "Cindy", "Gracie" and "Lucy". Preceded by her father, Harold "Hollywood" Therault; and brother, Danny.
Patty enjoyed working at Roberts Pools alongside her "work husband" Robert "Bob" Ackerman. She was a dedicated member of St. John Bosco Altar Rosary Society and Parish Life. Patty loved helping and working with children for many years. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and cherished her.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 22, 2023, DIRECTLY at St. John Bosco Church, 7113 Columbia Avenue, Hammond, IN with Fr. Jeffrey D. Burton officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 9:00 AM until time of Mass. Burial to follow at St. John St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
