Paula M. Quigg

Age 68 of Highland, IN, passed away at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis on Thursday, August 21, 2014, surrounded by her family. Survived by: Husband, Beresford "Barry" Quigg; Three children: Stacie (Bryan) Nourse of Fishers, IN; Jason (Courtney) Quigg of Hobart, IN; and Stephanie (Gary) Smith of Fishers, IN; Three grandchildren: Caden Quigg; Madeline and Grant Smith; One brother, Bill (Melody) Rudigier; and two sisters, Holly (George) Moyer; and Susan (Ben) Mchabcheb; Many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Grace Church 3025 Highway Ave in Highland, IN with Fr. Edward Moszur officiating. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) in Schererville, IN.
Paula was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend to many.

She loved doing anything with family and friends. She had a green thumb and cherished her time in her beautiful gardens. She also enjoyed watching sports while reading a good book. She was a special education teacher for over 35 years at Harding Elementary School in Hammond, IN. Paula graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Missouri Valley College in 1969, and later completed her Master's of Arts degree from Purdue University.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, IN, or the Highland Public Library.
