Pilar Norrick  "Peaches" nee: Gamez age 95 of Highland formerly Wheatfield passed away Saturday January 14, 2017, she is survived by 4 children: Ronald(Alicia)Norrick, Donald(Charlotte)Norrick, Judith(Larry)Waldrop, Sylvia(Lupe)Almaraz. 13 grandchildren: Jorge, Carlos, Elisa, Lori, Sherri, Jennifer, Kathy, Jodi, Terry, Annette, Norma, Jeff, Michele, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. 4 brothers: Cipriano(Hope)Gamez, Jesse(Rose)Gamez, Frank Gamez, Raymond(Delia)Gamez, Sister: Christine Gamez, sisters in law: Alice(late Ignacio), Doris(late Joseph), Mercedes(late Robert),  many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 73 years Veachel, 4 brothers John(Alice) Librado, Filipe, 3 sisters Maria, Manuela, Guadalupe.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday January 19, 2017 DIRECTLY at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church 165 Grace Street Wheatfield, IN. Pilar will lie in state at the church from 10:30am until, time of Mass.  At rest Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday January 18, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home  14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, In 219 322-7766 (corner Main & Kennedy).  Rosary 7:00 PM.
