Rachelle Dean, age 74, longtime resident of Dyer, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021. She is survived by her wonderful and devoted husband of 49 years, Donald; beloved son Don E. (Christine) Dean; children: Annette (Dirk) Haschke and Harvey John Cole; special grandchildren: Kristine (Matt), Rebecca (Jordan), David, Nate, Bryan, Steven, Samuel, Savannah, Ryan, Sophia, and her angel Allyson; two great-grandchildren: Gabriel, and Everly Rose; wonderful and dedicated cousins: Jeff and Penny Mayer; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a lot of close friends. Preceded in death by her sister Ruth (still living, Jimmy) Pasour.

Rachelle was an active member of 1 ^st Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Highland, IN. She enjoyed working outside, spending time with friends, and watching stock car racing at various speedways.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Celebration of Rachelle's Life will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. Rebecca Sunquist officiating. Services conclude at the funeral home.
