Randy Ferguson, Sr.

Age 67, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 12, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Darlene (nee Pustelniak); children: Cindy L. (Edward M.) Trainor and Randy W. (Shannon D.) Ferguson, Jr; grandchildren: Samantha, Eddie, Alex, R.J., and Chance; great-grandchildren: Braelyn, Lilith, and Alayna; brothers, Paul (Dee) Ferguson and Ricky (Lora) Ferguson; sisters, Sheila (late, Don) Crawford and Carol (Jerry) Coates; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Preceded by his parents, James H. and June R. Ferguson; and son, Jason H. Ferguson.

Randy is well known for helping many family and friends with home improvements. Known by many as a workaholic. When Randy was not busy with helping others, he enjoyed watching the grandchildren play baseball and basketball.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. A Service Celebrating Randy's Life will be held at 5:30 PM with Pastor Jay Calaway officiating. Services conclude at the funeral home.
