Raymond was proud to serve as a Sergeant in the United States Marines. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church would be appreciated.
He was an avid golfer, fisherman, card and game player. He loved to play games, he was competitive in the most loving funny way possible. He loved music and dancing, he was an excellent square dancer. In his final days music lifted his spirits and motivated him during therapy. He was a Jokester, a kid at heart, he said you were only as old as you acted. He loved to have fun and make people laugh, he was a light and brought a smile and joy to all he touched.
He cherished his family and he loved his family so very well! When asked what he wanted to do, recently, he said he wanted to finish the work that the Lord had for him on this Earth. He must have finished it. We all long for one more hug but are so thankful that his is now at peace.
