Rebecca "Becky" A. DeLaurentis (nee Kiran)

age 46, of Highland, IN, sadly passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Becky is survived by her loving husband of almost 20 years, Andrew "Andy" DeLaurentis; parents, Don and Nancy (nee Lembas) Kiran; siblings, Daniel (late, Lauren) Kiran and Stacey (Will) Seibold; nieces and nephews: Phil Kreski, Mia Przybylski, Morgan Kreski, Madison Kiran, Milana Przybylski, Mackenzie Kiran, Bella Przybylski, Danielle Kreski, and Margot Seibold. Preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Felicia Lembas; and several aunts and uncles.

Becky was a 1996 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. She attended Purdue University – Calumet and graduated with her bachelor's degree in human resources.

Becky had a fondness for 80s pop culture and scary movies. Her musical tastes were deeply rooted in the soulful melodies of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac. She was a connoisseur of creature comforts and appreciated the simple pleasures in life, including close friends, family, and pizza. Becky was also a devoted cat aficionado, and her furry companions brought her immense joy. She relished spending time with her friends and often gathered for dinner with them. Her vibrant spirit will be missed by all those who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 12, DIRECTLY AT Jesus Shepherd of Souls (St. Andrew the Apostle Church), 768 Lincoln Ave, Calumet City, IL 60409.  Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.
