RICHARD ROSS

age 81, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2015. Richard is survived by his children: Richard Ross, Linda (Young) Winebrenner, Joyce (Michael) Howard, Diana (John) Flores, Kathy Ross and Patrick Ross; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister in law Aggie Ross; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Cecilia; brothers: Ed, Joe, Len and Al; sister Caroline.

Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Abex. He was a practical joker and enjoyed traveling, country and western music, watching wrestling and playing Yahtzee. Most of all, Richard cherished the time spent with his family. He was a wonderful father and the greatest grandpa anyone could wish for.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. At rest St. John Cemetery Hammond. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
