Robert P. Donaldson

age 36, of Hammond, late of Crown Point, passed away December 29, 2016. Bob is survived by his devoted sister Katie (Robert) Donaldson-Legel; stepbrother Adam Bostick; niece and goddaughter Noelle Polito, niece Quinn Legel, nephews Griffin Legel and Avery Bostick; Stepfather Barry Bostick Sr.; aunt and godmother Christine Stockton, aunts Caroline (Kevin) Kelly and Mary (Butch) Czysczon; his first love April Hamilton; best friend Tim Weeks. Bob was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Bostick, brother Barry Bostick Jr., grandparents June & Ralph Zimmer and his uncles: Ralph, Larry and Bobby.

Bob was an intelligent, kind-hearted man who loved to make people laugh.  He cherished his family, was an amazing uncle to Noelle and was looking forward to spending time with Quinn and Griffin. Bob loved music and enjoyed watching WWE wresting. An avid White Sox fan, Bob was also a fan of all the Chicago teams but still had a non-sexual mancrush on Tom Brady. The pain we now feel by this sudden loss of our brother, our uncle and our friend is immeasurable, yet that grief is surpassed by the joy Bob brought to this world, by the memories we were blessed to make together and the love in our hearts we will carry for him forever.

Friends may gather to celebrate Bob's life on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville. Friends and family will come together at 7:30 PM to share thoughts, memories and prayers. Cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow.
