Robert "Bobby" L. Bandy

Age 82, of Hammond, passed away Friday May 29, 2015. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Martha (nee Ruskowsky); sons, Robert, Dave (Sandy), Mike (Rose), Kevin; 6 grandchildren, Timothy, Jessica (Nick), Emily, Nicole, Joshua and Matthew; 2 great grandchildren, Isbella and Camden. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM DIRECTLY AT Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond, IN 46324. American Legion Post 80 services 6:00 PM.

Bobby proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 80 in Whiting, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
