Robert L. Clark

age 91, of Hammond, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2021. He is survived by the love of his life of 57 years, Clara (nee Clevinger); two sons, Merrill (Sandi) Clark, and Rob (Penny) Clark; two granddaughters, Heather (Brian) Money and Janelle (Johnny) Knox; one grandson, Jordan; four great-grandchildren, Will, Hope, and Zoe Knox, and Elijah Money; loving niece Dawn Troop; loving nephews, Tim (Kim) Clark, Jeff (Chris) Clark, Keith (Brenda) Clark; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Harley Clark and Ruth Clark (nee Stutzman); and two brothers, Harley (still living Joan) Clark and Don (Ermagine) Clark.

Robert was a 1948 graduate of Hammond High School and retired from Inland Steel after 43 years. He was also a Navy reserve veteran. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 18 at the funeral home with Pastor Johnny Knox officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warriors or Hospice of the Calumet Area would be appreciated.
