Robert M. Virus

Robert M. Virus, age 68, of Hammond, IN passed away after a struggle with cancer on Saturday, May 14, 2022.  Robert is survived by his brother Reverend Keith Virus; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Francis Virus; and precious pets, "Killer" and "Mr. Buddy White Foot".

Robert was a 1972 graduate of Hammond High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Chicago. He then received his degree in Neuropharmacology from the University of Iowa. Robert liked to read and build model airplanes, especially replicas of World War II German airplanes.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Rev. Keith Virus officiating. Burial to follow at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.
