Our Beloved Ronald Dostatni of Munster Indiana, and Evanston, Illinois, went to the Lord, Tuesday, October 13, 2015, while surrounded by his family. Born February 22, 1943, in Hammond Indiana, Ron was the son of the late Carl Dostatni and Helen (Grabowski) Dostatni.

Ron retired from the International Sales Division of Ryerson Steel, in 1995, and was a long-time co-owner of several businesses. Ron had multiple passions throughout his life, including reading, both playing and watching sports, and finance.

He was loved by all that knew him, and he always gave more in return. Through his actions, he showed us how to laugh, love, work, play, pray, and better ourselves; all with humility and grace.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jeanette Ann Dostatni; along with two children; Eric of San Jose, California, and Yvette of Rogers Park, Illinois; 3 grandchildren, Kaven Kolb, James Kolb, and Elena Kolb; Daughter-in-law Irene Kolb, Sister Connie Folvag, Brother-in-law Michael Folvag, and nephew and niece Adam and Lauren Folvag of Dallas, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Carmelite Fathers, 1628 Ridge Rd, Munster, Indiana, at 10:00 am with Father Bronislaw Socha, OCD, officiating. Burial will follow at Saint John - Saint Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana. The family will greet friends and family from 1:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Solan - Pruzin Funeral Home 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville.
