age 70, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 He is survived by his wife of more than 25 years: Terry Zurek; children: Julie Zurek, Ronald (Jeanie) Zurek, Skylar Zurek, and Trace Zurek; step-children: Joshua (Aubrey) Holder and Rachael Holder; grandchildren: TJ Hall, Katie Hall, Logan Zurek, Linda Zurek, Gavin Holder and Rianne Holder and new puppy: Dale. Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Pauline Zurek; and his first wife Linda Zurek.

Ronald was a 1969 graduate of Clark High School and worked as a mechanic at Inland Steel. He had a passion for NASCAR and really enjoyed watching the races. Family and racing were his world. He was truly the glue that held his family together. Ronald loved unconditionally and will be truly missed.

A visitation will be on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. Burial private. Donations to the VNA Hospice Northwest Indiana would also be appreciated.
