Rose Ann Jansky (nee Fowler)

age 75, of Merrillville, formerly of Whiting, IN, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 7, 2018.   Rose Ann is survived by her son, Brian Keister and daughter, Amber (Don) Baron; grandchildren, Alexandra and Ana Baron; siblings, Janice Smelcher, Ronald (Gina) Fowler, Paul (Jeanne) Fowler and Diane (David) Cookesy; several nieces and nephews; and precious pets, Mojo and Archie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ophelia Fowler; daughter, September Lynn (still living, fiancé Daniel Van Etten) Jansky; and brother, David (still living, Mary) Fowler.

Services were private to honor Rose Ann's wishes and entrusted to Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville, IN 46375.

Rose Ann was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1960. She retired from Unilever, formerly Lever Brothers. Rose Ann enjoyed being with her family, traveling, gambling and hosting parties. In lieu of flowers, Rose Ann asked that you take a friend to lunch.
