ROSEMARY G. ONIA

age 84, of Crown Point, formerly of Hammond, passed away Tuesday April 1, 2014. Rosemary is survived by her daughters: Rebecca (late Greg) Lowery, Cynthia (Dave) Daugherty & Sandra Sigler; grandchildren: Kimberly (George) Patton, Melissa (Dan) Hartnett, Angela (Julien) Villarreal, Matt Sigler & Amanda Sigler; many great grandchildren including Trey & Keegan who loved with her; numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Raymond, parents George and Mary Gilligan, brother Charles (Virginia) Gilligan, in laws Nick (Olga) Onia.

Rosemary retired from Carson Pirie Scott and was a member of Carson's Birthday Club. She was a parishioner of Holy Spirit Church in Crown Point and former member of St. John Bosco Parish. Rosemary's family were her life and her passion. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Monday April 7, 2014 at 12:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville with Rev. Thomas E. Mischler officiating. At rest Chapel Lawn Cemetery Schererville. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
