Rudolph "Butch" Szany age 71 of Hammond passed away Thursday September 14, 2017  he is survived by 2 children: Melissa King, Robert Szany, 5 grandchildren: Sheena, Miranda, Jacqueline, Ashlynn, Zachary,   5 Great grandchildren: Devyn, Jayden, Jordan, Rylynn, Gianna, 5 brothers: Eugene, Richard, Victor, Terrence, Gerard, 5 sisters: Cecelia, Sharon, Judith, Karen, Jeanine, Kathleen, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, preceded in death by his wife Sue, son Jeff, parents Rudolph and Wanda.

Memorial service will be held Monday September 18, 2017 4:30PM at the SolanPruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave. Hammond, IN  with   Fr. Steve Kosinski officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday Sept. 18, 2017 from 2:00 till 6:00PM at the SolanPruzin Funeral Home.
