Sandra A. "Sandy" Arroyo

age 61, of Highland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 19, 2024. Sandy is survived by her husband of almost 38 years, Tony Arroyo; son, Anthony Arroyo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Spejewski; brother, Roger Spejewski; and precious daughter, Angelene.

Sandy graduated from T.F. South High School in Lansing, IL. She had an undeniable love for cooking and baking. Her culinary creations brought joy to countless gatherings and celebrations, with friends and family eagerly anticipating her delicious dishes and delectable desserts.

Music was another significant part of Sandy's life, and she could often be found attending concerts or enjoying her favorite tunes at home. Her legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM with Fr. Jeffrey D. Burton officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 25 DIRECTLY at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL.
