Sandra A. Ratley-Pritchard "Sandi"

Age 64, of Hammond, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 joining her brothers in Heaven. Sandi is survived by her parents Luke and Georgia Ratley; husband Steve Pritchard; sisters-in-law Rita Ratley and Marilyn White; nieces: Tish (Donnie) Bartell, Gwen Cadieux, Samantha (Joseph) Atkins; nephew Luke M. Ratley; brother-in-law Donald (Karen) Pritchard; numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins; lifelong friends Darlene Ogrodowski and Merri Jo Loker. Sandi was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Ratley and Mike Ratley.

Sandi was a creative soul, a true artist with immeasurable talent which she shared with the world in various mediums.  With a brush in hand she excelled as a painter and with her hands and heart Sandi also created pottery, ceramics and sculpture. Sandi turned her innate creativity into a successful career as a florist for Flowers by Darlene for many years. A master fisherwoman, Sandi loved spending time Wisconsin at various fishing holes. She had a silly sense of humor and spread joy by making others laugh. Sandi adored her family and was a loving, caring friend.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond, IN. Sandi's funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm with Pastor Rusty Shields officiating and laid to rest with her brothers at Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville, IN.
