In Loving Memory of Sanjay Kumar
(April 22, 1954 - March 26, 2025)

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sanjay Kumar, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, father-in-law, and friend, who left us for his heavenly abode on March 26, 2025, at the age of 71. He passed away peacefully in his sleep. Sanjay's presence was truly remarkable; he had a way of lighting up any room he entered, bringing warmth and joy to every gathering. His love for life was evident in everything he did, and no one ever felt like a stranger in his presence. His kindness and warmth made everyone feel at ease, as if they had known him forever.

Sanjay's dedication to his family, his work, and life itself never wavered, and he continued to give his all—right until the very end. He was a man who enjoyed every moment of life—whether savoring a good meal, traveling to new places, or simply spending time with his family and friends. His zest for life and his contagious positive spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of meeting him.

A true fighter, Sanjay faced the battle against cancer with unparalleled strength and resilience. For the past six years, he fought with courage, never once complaining, and always with a smile on his face.

Professionally, Sanjay was passionate about his work in steel plants and refractories, a field he loved and respected. His dedication to his craft earned him admiration from his colleagues and peers, and he was valued by all who had the privilege of working with him.
Sanjay is survived by his wife, Bibha Singh, his sons, Vishal and Vibhore Vardhan, along with his daughter-in-law Neha and Jignasha, grandchildren Nimish and Nivan, and many friends, all of whom will carry his memory with them forever. He was loved and respected by people of all ages, and his legacy of warmth, kindness, and positivity will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home at 14 Kennedy Avenue Schererville, Indiana 46375 on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3PM.
