Sharon J. Greer (nee Miller)

age 78, of Dyer, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family on April 7th, 2025. She is survived by her children, Deborah (David) Hunt and Kenneth "Brian" Greer; grandchildren: Daniel Greer and Heather Greer; sister, Doreen (Walter) Lenckos; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Kenneth; parents, Ralph and Ann Miller; and sister, Judy.

Sharon was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She was a graduate of Madonna High School and spent 40 plus years as a realtor in NW Indiana. Sharon enjoyed spending time shopping, gardening, traveling the world and reading a good book on her patio with her dog, Teddy. Sharon's life was centered around her family and friends, finding great joy in the love and laughter she shared with them. Her warmth, kindness and dedication to those she loved will be missed.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Service will be held at 7:00 PM with Fr. Daniel Schmidt officiating. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 29 directly at St. Florian Catholic Church, 13145 S Houston Ave, Chicago, IL 60633.
