Sherry Lynn McClelland

age 55, of Hammond, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017. Sherry is survived by her children: Trina (Moises) McClelland- Palacios, Steven (Tanya) McClelland, Chuck (Edy) McClelland, and Joe (Cathy) McClelland;  grandchildren: Jade, Kala, Leonor, Nathan, Ellie, Eli, Andrew, Avery, Joey, Brayden; siblings: Belinda Hartoonin, Jeffery Krotser, Curtis Krotser, Travis Krotser and Troy Guthrie; mother: Lola (late Myron) Guthrie; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; dear friend Gloria Raschke. Preceded in death by her siblings: Jimmy Krotser, Brenda Smith and Steven Krotser.

Friends may gather to honor Sherry on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, IN. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow.

Sherry was a kind and genuine woman. Her generous heart and incredible personal strength enriched the lives of all who knew and loved her. Sherry cherished every minute she was able to spend with her children and grand children. She was an avid pool player and enjoyed shooting pool at various pool halls in the area. Sherry loved to watch her soaps, especially "Days of Our Lives" and "General Hospital". Our dear and loving Sherry will be sorely missed.
