Shirley Jean Kansfield nee Martin

age 76, of Hessville, passed away peacefully Monday, June 11, 2018. Shirley is survived by her; children: Joseph (Margie) Einsele, Marenis (Karen) Kansfield III, Christopher (Kendra) Kansfield, Matthew Kansfield and Sheryll Jeanette Kansfield; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; Brothers Michael (Lola) Martin and Jerry Martin; nephews Eric Martin, Michael Martin and Nick Kansfield; nieces Tracy (Greg) Schweir and Ann Marie Mucha; sister in law Sharon Kansfield; numerous cousins and extended family and friends. Preceded by her loving husband of 51 years Marenis J. Kansfield Jr. and her parents William F. and Thelma Martin.

Shirley was employed for over 30 years as a dispatcher for Local #150. She was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Hessville and was very active in fundraisers and social events at the church.

Funeral services were private and entrusted to Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory Schererville.
