Shirley T. Keene (nee Reynolds)

Age 88, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Highland, IN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Shirley is survived by her loving children: Jeff (Polly) Rosignol; Teri (Dallas) Swift, Brenda (Dan) Schmiedel, Connie (Mike) Eden, Rick (Pam) Keene, Kelly (Jeff) Watts, and Darren (Lisa) Keene; precious grandchildren: Renee and Alicia Rosignol; Rachel (David) Zimny; Justin (Melissa) Schmiedel, Joshua (Aurora) Schmiedel, Melissa (Scott) Brown, Jacob (Allie) Schmiedel, Rebecca (Luis) Rodriguez, and Jeremy Schmiedel; Kevin Keene, Emily (Todd) Pender; Michael Eden, Kristen (Andrew) Poikus, Mary (Matthew) Hart, David (Jacqueline) Eden, Sarah Eden; Johnathan (Bethany) Bakas, Tiffany (Jeff) DeArmond, Jade Watts; Vivian and Lucy Keene; 30 adoring great grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Montella and Jody Cockrum.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Keene; his son, Steve Keene;  parents, Otto and Katherine Reynolds; sister, Linda Barnes; brother, Tony Reynolds; and dear grandson, Joseph "Joey" Rosignol.

Shirley was a wonderful wife and homemaker, she had a zest for life and lit up the room with her vibrant personality. She was a hair stylist, always cherished time with family, gardening, canning, and Elvis! She was proud of all her children and continually prayed for her loved ones.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN 46375. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 PM with Pastor Josh Landers, Hillside Church, officiating. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 11, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
