Stephen R. Falucskai

Age 82, of Cedar Lake, formerly of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Stephen is survived by his children: Randy Wingis, Dianna (Bill) Melby, Laura (Jacob) Kosiara; Steve and Joe Falucskai; grandchildren: Jessica, Joseph, Will, Haley, Jacob, Madelyn, and Miles.  Preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Geraldine "Gerry" Falucskai and daughter Catherine Pearson.

Stephen was a graduate of Chicago Vocational High School and went on to work for the railroad. He also worked for the Gonella Baking Company where he met the love of his life. Stephen loved to cook and travel with his wife. He will be remembered as a family man, a wonderful father, and grandfather.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Service commemorating Stephen's life will be held at 6:00PM with Deacon Brian Nosbusch officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony's Majestic Care in Crown Point.
