Stephen (Steve) Perlinski, 71 years old of Munster, Indiana, passed the morning of April 22, 2022, surrounded by the love of his family.  Steve is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Andrea; children, Ryann (Ben) Ricchio and Zach (Joan) Perlinski; grandchildren Maxwell and Emery; sister Renae (the late Phil) Magnuson; nieces and nephews; and numerous family and friends of a lifetime.  Steve was preceded in death by parents Stephen and Florence, his sister Deborah, and his beloved older brother John Alan.

Steve was a family man in every sense of the word, hosting many cherished holiday events and pool parties and always being the first to lend a helping hand.  He loved the Chicago White Sox, fishing at Lake Wawasee, and a nice cold beer.  In recent years, he spent much time playing and laughing with his grandchildren.

In addition to dedicating his life to his family, he had a successful career, working more than 30 years at then-Commonwealth Edison.  He spent 12 years in sales at his current employer, SCI Corporation, who provided him a supportive and caring work environment over the last several months.  Steve also proudly served our country as a member of the National Guard.

The Perlinski family would like to express their gratitude for the extraordinary care provided by physicians and staff at Community Hospital, as well as the William J. Riley Memorial Residence in Munster.

A memorial visitation will be held on April 26, 2022, at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home in Schererville, Indiana, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
