Steven A. Bramer, Sr. age 63, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.  Steven is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Ana (nee Torres); children: Steven A. (Megan) Bramer Jr., Danielle (Demecio) Martinez, Stephanie (Alfonso) Vidaurri; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings, Paul (Marge) Bramer, Karen Bramer and Janice Bramer; in laws, Socorro (late, Enrique) Torres; Patricia (Oscar Quiroga) Torres and Rick (Debbie Patton) Torres; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and Paul.

Steven was a Class of 77' Bishop Noll graduate and a very proud US Marine veteran; serving in both Hawaii and North Carolina. He was an umpire and referee for several sports including; softball, track and field, wrestling and volleyball. He especially enjoyed the times he had the opportunity to announce volleyball games at Bishop Noll. Steven enjoyed doing military models, playing with his grandchildren and gardening. Steven was a great storyteller and really just a big goof ball, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are appreciated.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, June 3, 2022 DIRECTLY AT St. Stanislaus Church, 808 W 150th St, East Chicago, IN 46312 with Msgr. John J. Siekierski officiating. Steven will lie in state at the church from 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.
