Steven "Jake" Sanchez

Steven "Jake" Sanchez passed from this earth on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born in Chicago, IL on January 24, 1969 to Norberto and Irma (Aguilera) Sanchez, who preceded him in death.
Steven is survived by his loving sister Elizabeth Sanchez and brother Norberto J. (Rebecca) Sanchez both from Hammond; niece Carrie Elizabeth, nephew Jesse Ray, great niece Kaileigh, great nephew Tyler. Steven also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Steven was raised in Hammond, Indiana and graduated with Honors from George Rogers Clark High School. He went on to attend Indiana University Bloomington and later moved to Las Vegas where he worked at the Excalibur Hotel. Steven was loved by all he met. Even though Steven made his home in Vegas, he was a Chicago boy at heart.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 2:00-6:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave Hammond.
