Susan "Suzy" M. Slampyak (nee Loukowski)

age 77, of Schererville, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022. Suzy is survived by her devoted daughter Kristine; precious grandchildren, Jesse and Mackenzie; and supportive sister sister-in-law, Carol. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Andrew; parents, Joseph and Beulah; sister, Patricia; and three precious cats.

Suzy was a graduate of Hammond High School. She loved going to antique stores and collecting Oriental keepsakes. She was also a phenomenal baker and was known for her zucchini bread.  Above all else, Suzy will be remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother.

A private service will be held for the family and entrusted to Solan Pruzin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Indiana. www.humaneindiana.org
