Suzanne "Sue" L. Maciejewski (nee McCullough)

Age 73, of Hammond, IN, formerly of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Walter; children: Andy (Dawn) Maciejewski, Paul (Holli) Maciejewski, Theresa (Danny) Ostapchuk, and Steve (Jenny) Maciejewski; precious grandchildren: Tyler (Jessica), Kalie, Lexi, Carissa, and Ellie; and siblings: Jim (Karyl) McCullough, Janice (Joe) Grunstein, Kathy (Tom) Montella, and Karen Sheldon.  Preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Eleanor McCullough.

Sue grew up in Calumet City, IL and attended St. Andrew's grade school and graduated from T.F. North High School in 1967. For several years she was a member of and taught Religious Education at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She was fond of reading and took immense pleasure in camping, particularly in Plymouth, IN. Sue's most prized treasure was her family, whom she enjoyed cooking meals for on Sundays. She was vastly involved in her grandchildren's lives and enjoyed watching Lifetime movies with them. She was especially generous and had an exceptional heart. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone and will be remembered as a beautiful person, inside and out.
