Teri Smith (nee Czyzykiewicz)

Age 72, of Oak Lawn, IL formerly of Pennsylvania

After battling many health issues for several years Teri passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Teri is survived by her loving sons, Dean (Kristen) Smith and Billy (Kristine Kwiecinski) Smith; dear grandchildren, Ryan, David, Conor, Victoria and Dean Jr.; precious great grandson, Elliott; siblings, Stanley "Denny" Brown, Dan (Kimm) Brown and Cris Brown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Joyce Czyzykiewicz; and daughter in law, Kimberly Smith. Teri enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her Bunko Club. She loved her grandchildren dearly and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:30 PM with John Breslin officiating. Those attending visitation and service are required to wear masks and to follow social distancing protocol.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Suzan G. Komen Foundation, www.Komen.org would be appreciated.
