Terry A. Kitchens

age 65, of Lake Station, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. Terry is survived by his spouse of 48 years Norma Mitchell. Siblings:  Robert Franklin (Maggi) Kitchens, Marilyn Burden, Mary (Conrad) Bastardo,  Tom Kitchens, Robert Davis (Sue) Kitchens, Jenny (Jay) Coto and Mike (Cheryl) Kitchens. 16 nieces and nephews. 22 Great nieces and nephews. 4 Great - Great nephews and nieces. Terry was  predeceased by his Father  Roy Kitchens, Mother Corrine (nee Smith) Kitchens, Brothers Richard Kitchens and Wayne Kitchens; Sister  Ruth (Kitchens) Cartwright and Great Nephew - Lucas Coto.

Terry loved to work in his garage and was a mechanic for most of his life. He had his own garage for many years in Black Oak Indiana. If he had grease on his hands he was happy. He worked at Leer Corp and  Vermette Machine Co in later years.

He enjoyed his family and friends. He always had a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. He loved to tease and play. Terry also loved all his fur babies very much. He spoiled them rotten (see pic of them waiting for food) A Celebration of Terry's life will be held on his 66th birthday: Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. Friends may gather from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
