THEODORE R. STRICKLIN
age 71, of Three Rivers, MI, formerly of Hessville, passed away Saturday May 10, 2014. Theodore is survived by his children: Kimberly (Brian) Brown, of Crown Point, IN; Tracy Walczak, of Three Rivers, MI; Robert Stricklin, of Highland, IN; Richard (Melinda) Stricklin, of Hobart, IN; 11 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sisters: Barbara Hayden, Gloria (Dick) Ryzewski-Salat and Pamela (Kenneth) Balczo; lifelong friend Ron Krueger; caretaker Johnny Walczak; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia A. Stricklin, brothers Thomas and Fritz, parents Lloyd and Lillian.
Theodore proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a Millwright and retired from Inland Steel after 31 years. Theodore enjoyed family camping trips, loved to fish and adored his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 14, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. Cremation at Solan Pruzin Crematory to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
