Krizman, Theresa Marie, 60, Windber, passed away March 16, 2026, at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 23, 1965, in Hammond, Indiana, daughter of the late Matthew and Nancy E. (Paloney) Krizman. Survived by loving sister, Elizabeth A. married to Very Rev. Fr. Miles P. Zdinak; brother, David M. Krizman; nephew, Paul M. Zdinak married to Jordan; niece, Juliana E. Zdinak; and great niece, Madelyn N. Zdinak. Theresa worked for 23 years at LCAR now ARC of NWI until moving to PA where she worked for Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped for 12 years. She participated in Special Olympics in Bowling. She was active in her home church of Descent of the Holy Spirit as well as SS. Peter & Paul in Windber with the Women’s Club. She was made an honorary lifetime member of the National ACRY. She especially enjoyed attending National ACRY events being able to see all her friends. Theresa loved spending time at Camp Nazareth as a camper starting when it opened in 1977 and later served as a volunteer helper for many years with dear friends Helen and Christina. She had a special love of Disney, especially Mickey Mouse. Theresa also loved shopping, attending social events, and especially going to Shaun Cassidy and Oak Ridge Boys concerts, and made friends everywhere she went. Her wit, smile, and infectious spirit will be missed, but she will be forever in our hearts. Many thanks to all those who showed her kindness and care throughout her life.
May God grant rest eternal and blessed repose to this newly departed servant Theresa Marie, and may her memory be eternal. Vichnaya Pamyat.
Family will receive friends at SS. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church on Saturday, March 21st, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, where immediately following her viewing, Parastas will be served by her brother-in-law, Very Rev. Fr. Miles and attending clergy. Arrangements entrusted to Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber. Viewing will be held on Wednesday March 25th from 9:30 a.m. to time of Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. at Descent of the Holy Spirit Orthodox Church, 545 E 77th Ave, Schererville, IN, with Very Rev. Lev Holowaty and Very Rev. Miles Zdinak. Committal will follow at Holy Ghost Orthodox Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana. Donations can be made in her memory to Camp Nazareth, Saints Peter & Paul Church, or Descent of the Holy Spirit Church.
