Theresa Anastasia Larkin (nee Negele)

age 89, of Dyer and formerly of Hammond, was called by the Lord on Friday, June 16, 2023. Theresa is survived by her loving children: James (Claudia) Larkin, Mary (late, Mark) Kucek, and Rex Larkin; precious grandchildren: Ian Larkin, Erin (Blair) Komasinski, Lauren (Mike) Stafford, Colin Larkin, Courtney (Prashanth) Eladasari, Kristen (Brent) McMurtry, Leeann Larkin, and Amy Larkin; great-grandchildren Nolan, Nora, and Evelyn Komasinski, Carter and Emilia Eladasari, Emersyn McMurtry, and Andrew Stafford; and sister Marie Blackman. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerome F. "Romie" Larkin; siblings John Negele, Carl Negele, Veronica Smith, Donald Negele, Joseph Negele, and Edward Negele; as well as parents Joseph and Theresa Negele (nee Wutz).

Theresa held various working positions with Burger's Supermarket and Sterk's. She was a great cook who enjoyed cross-stitching and loved Christmas. She was a former member of St. Maria Goretti Church. Theresa will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Service Celebrating Theresa's Life will be held at 10:00 AM with Father Charles Niblick officiating. Burial to follow at St. John / St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
