THERESA BAYER STASINEC

age 90, of Schererville, formerly Chicago, late of Valparaiso passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. Theresa is survived by her daughter Renate (John) Sopcich; son Peter Stasinec; grandchildren Joshua Weber and Ali Weber; furry companion Haley. Preceded in death by her husband of 37 years John.

Theresa retired from Marshall Field's after 26 years of service. She was an avid bingo player and for many years enjoyed bingo at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Schererville. Theresa had a love of life, family and her dog Haley. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Chaplain Rob Dorow officiating. Theresa will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Nicholas Cemetery Hammond.
