Therese M. Zolvinski (nee Kester)

September 30, 1958 – March 6, 2024

Therese M. Zolvinski, age 65, of Cedar Lake, formerly of Michigan City and Beverly Shores, IN, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Matthew; daughter, Andrea (Jason) Whittaker; and brothers and sister. Preceded in death by her son, Patrick N. Glassman; brother, John Kester; and parents, Charles and Doris Kester.

Therese was a 1977 graduate of Rogers High School in Michigan City. She had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned several small businesses, including Amish Structures. She was driven to care for loved ones, especially children, seniors, and animals, including her beloved departed dog Sam. Additionally, she was passionate about the benefits and practice of holistic healing, especially pertaining to the treatment of Lyme Disease. Therese will be dearly missed and cherished by all her loved ones.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 13, DIRECTLY at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave, Highland, IN with Fr. Gregory Bim-Merle officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SHARE Foundation or the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana.
