Thomas J. Luchene

Age 70, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Thomas was a proud graduate of Morton High School, Class of 1974, and a proud veteran who served his country with honor. He enjoyed working on and fixing cars, watching NASCAR, shopping, and keeping up with the latest technology. Tech-savvy and always interested in learning, Thomas had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy, including fishing and camping. He will be remembered for the things he loved, the memories he made, and the special place he held in the hearts of his family.

Thomas is survived by his loving daughter, Allison Luchene; his beloved siblings, Sandy Barr, Terry (Shirley) Luchene, David (Nancy) Luchene, and Kim (Don) Bianco; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Hope Luchene, who he cherished dearly.
