TIMOTHY JOHN SCHILLING

age 65, of Hammond, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Barbara nee Kenar; siblings: Jim (late Kris) Schilling and Mary (late John) Nicholas; niece Debbie (Bob) Morey; nephews Jim (Melissa) Negron-Schilling and Justin (Lara) Schilling; several great nieces and nephews; two aunts, many cousins and cat Maxie. Preceded in death by his parents Pete and Helen Schilling.

Tim was an avid hiker, enjoyed gardening and loved the outdoors, especially the Dunes and Clifty Falls. He was employed in the Steel Industry and went on to work as teacher in Special Education. Timothy will be dearly missed by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 with a 10:00 AM Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 7132 Arizona Ave Hammond with Fr. Charles Mosley officiating. Timothy will lie in state at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service. At rest St. John St. Joseph Cemetery Hammond. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Tim's honor to the OLPH Roof Fund or the Humane Society of the Calumet Area.
