Tina L. Novosel

age 58, of Gary, formerly of Highland, IN, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Hickel and Michael Hickel; mother, Margaret (nee Keiser); siblings: Donald Novosel, Jr., David Novosel, Dennis (Kathleen) Novosel; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and one great nephew. Preceded in death by her father, Donald M. Novosel, Sr.

Tina was a 1983 graduate of Highland High School. She was a phenomenal cook and used her culinary skills to provide catering services at numerous restaurants. One of her greatest joys was her service in day care, she loved working with children, and they adored her as well. Tina cherished Christmas and all the snow, lights, decorating, and Claymation movies that came with it. She found pleasure in fireworks, outdoor and rock n' roll music festivals, as well as planting and growing flowers. Most of all she doted on spending time with her family and will be missed more than words can express.

A Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375. Services conclude at the funeral home. Burial private.
