Transito Escobedo Jr. 

Age 31, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 5, 2020 in Hammond, IN. He is survived by his loving mother, Margarita(Manuel)Pozos and father, Transito(Cecilia)Escobedo Sr.; siblings, Aurelia(Adan)Escobedo, Myra(Josh)Escobedo, Jose Luis(Brianne)Escobedo, Abigail Escobedo, Jasmina Pozos, Emmanuel Pozos and Javier Pozos; dearest Love, Theresa and her son, Anthony; several aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandparents.

Transito was a hard worker, who excelled at all that he pursued. He was known for his no filter and witty personality.  He enjoyed jogging and spending quality time with his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.

A visitation with social distancing will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020  at  Solan Pruzin Funeral Home  , 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to accept any food donations for visitation or provide a lounge for family and friends. A funeral Service Celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00AM. Adhering to COVID-19 restrictions, burial will be private.
