Wade Pratt

age 75, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Wade was the beloved son of the late Woodrow and Wanda Pratt. He is survived by his wife, Grace Pratt; brother, Wesley; sisters: Janet (Ed) Schweitzer, Lesley (late, Darrell) Denney, and Lisa (Kirk) Godby; son Josh (Mandy) Pratt; step-son, Larry W. Robinson; step-daughters, Shelly (Art) Basaldua and Kelly Leonard; granddaughters, Kaelin (Jarred) Andras and Hannah Pratt; grandson, Zakry  Pratt; step-granddaughters, Jasmine and Alexandria; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brothers, Waco and Wayne; son, Rick (still living, Joanne); and step-grandson, Maxwell.

Wade was a 1967 graduate of Hammond Tech and a proud retired pipefitter Local Union #597. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Wade lived his entire life solely with his heart.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave., HAMMOND, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM with Fr. Jeffrey D. Burton officiating. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond.
