Wallace J. Zuffa

Age 96, of Hammond, IN passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He is survived by his loving son; Daryl (Tina) Zuffa; and precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded by his dear wife of 55 years, Julia; parents, Joseph and Helen; daughters, Diane and Debra; and son, David.

Wallace graduated from Catholic Central (Bishop Noll) and was a Navy Veteran. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights as a Supervisor. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Unity Council 726 and was fond of traveling to different states to participate in their annual golf outings. He even achieved two holes-in-one. Wallace loved to fish as well and always enjoyed going to his lake house in Bass Lake, IN and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and cherished by all.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 directly at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 7113 Columbia Ave., Hammond, IN with Rev. Jeffrey D. Burton officiating. Wallace will lie in state at the church from 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial at St. John St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond. Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, entrusted with services.
