Walter W. 'Patter' Jones of Hammond, IN, was called by the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the age of 75. He is survived by his two sons Brandon (Aimee) Jones and Tyrone Steele, his dear sister Audrey/duches, faithful niece Shavelle (Gregory), sister-in-law Brie (Scott), loyal second 'wife' and friend Sharrie, and family members, caregivers, and friends.

Walter was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Chicago Heights, Il, and served in the U.S. Army at Fort Knox, KY and in Germany.

He was preceded in death by his precious wife Denitra Jones, sister LaVerne Bell, friend Deanna Steele, father Rev. Walter W. Jones, Sr. and mother Luida Jones.

His passion was caring for his family, sports, cowboys, and pinball.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN (Corner of Main and Kennedy) 46375.
