William "Bill" Nicholas Ciucki, age 69, of St. John, IN., passed away on October 22, 2023 while at home.  Formerly of Highland, IN, Bill is survived by his son Joey (Evie) Ciucki of Hobart, IN; his granddaughter Violet Ciucki (Joey's daughter), his former wife and friend, Janice Ciucki of Highland, IN.  Three brothers, Dan (Sue) Ciucki of Port St Joe, FL; Richard (Liz) Ciucki of Escondido, CA; Nick Ciucki of San Diego, CA, brother-in-law John Macek of Aurora, IL, and a host of relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Edmund D. Ciucki, his mother, Antoinette Hus Ciucki, brothers Edmund A. Ciucki, Michael A. Ciucki, and sister Cynthia Marie Ciucki Macek.  Bill is a graduate of Highland High School, class of 1971 and had a degree from Purdue University Northwest-Hammond Campus.  Bill worked at Avery Dennison for a number of years before moving to The Solo Cup Company where he eventually retired.   Bill will always be remembered for his fun-loving nature and free spirit.  He was also known to his nieces and nephews as the "Fun Uncle".  He had a love for music as his volume of albums on the shelves show.  He loved to take rides on his motorcycle, especially rides to the Indiana Dunes.  Bill was also a great fan of racing, especially the Indy 500 of which he attended religiously.  A private memorial will be held with family.
