William "Bill" G. Mason Sr. age 73, of Rensselaer, formerly of Hobart, IN passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. He is survived by his dear love, Margaret (nee Sokolowski) Mason; children, Charles "Andy" (Crystal) Mason, Tricia Mitchem; grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Linda (John) Ritnour; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by his parents, George and Hazel Mason; dearest children, Margaret "Margie" (still living, Mike) Kelly and Billy Mason.

Bill loved racing and working on cars.  After retiring with 18 years of service at US Steel he went on to start his own business "Mason & Sons Great Lakes Towing"

A Memorial Gathering Celebrating Bill's Life will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 4 PM – 7PM, at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375.
